Richey's attorneys push to speed up case

COLUMBUS GROVE - Attorneys for Kenneth Richey filed a motion in federal court asking a judge to send the case to the Putnam County prosecutor who must decide whether to retry Richey or release him within 90 days.

Clifford to Represent Death Row Briton

PR guru Max Clifford confirmed today he has been hired to represent a Briton who has spent 18 years on death row in the US.

Edinburgh-born Kenny Richey's death sentence over the killing of a child in a fire in Ohio was overturned in April by a federal appeals court and he is expected to be freed soon.

AMNESTY International is calling on members of the public to send good luck cards to Death Row Scot Kenny Richey.

The international human rights organisation believes the support will lift Kenny's spirits ahead of his possible release in August this year.
