Capital penalty a heavy burden'
March 23, 2007 Cleveland Plain Dealer By Aaron Marshall
Columbus -- On the phone, Ted Strickland was quiet.
It was Monday afternoon and convicted killer Kenneth Biros was set to die by injection in less than 24 hours at Ohio's death house in Lucasville. The Democratic governor had already denied the killer's appeal for clemency. Now Strickland was being asked what it was like to live with that decision.
I have spoken to Kenny several times this week and he is doing as well as he can in the circumstances he is forced to endure.
Steve and Sally's family would like to thank all of those people who have taken the time and trouble to send them messages of support. It will be impossible for us to reply to the thousands of well-wishers who have contacted us, but your kind words are a great source of comfort to us at this sad time
Words fail me!! And this is supposed to be a humane way to kill people?
LUCASVILLE, Ohio - A man convicted of killing a woman and scattering her remains across two states was at Ohio's death house Tuesday, and his execution team was prepared to carry out the lethal injection even though an appeals court had blocked it.
Prisons spokeswoman Andrea Dean said Tuesday the execution team would stay in a holding pattern while the state appeals the ruling.

Dear Friends and Supporters
As you know I won a mitigation trial and was given life without parole! Actually 888 years and 88 days to be precise.
I am still not abandoing my appeals for a complete new trial!! Not until justice is served for all and the corruption of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation is exposed.
