Hi,

Amen to that, Marcus! I realise, too, that trauma changes people (even if being rude and ungrateful is their basic nature). I think I have said it before but I'll say it again - I supported the campaign because a terrible injustice had been done to Kenny. I have no regrets because it was the right thing to do. It wasn't that I expected a medal, though something on here from Kenny would have been nice! However, I won't lose sleep over it.

For any supporters feeling bitter about Kenny's lack of gratitude, I hope having supported the campaign because it was the right thing to do is some comfort. If Kenny is indeed ungrateful, it says more about him than about us.

God bless,
Cheryl

Bobbie~ Lucky? No. I don't think "luck" has anything to do with it.

I've helped with other cases besides Kenny's, Bob's and Randy's...some can verbally express their gratitude, others don't seem to care. It doesn't make a difference to me...I'm still going to continue on my way...

Like Marcus and Cheryl, I've just come to the conclusions that if I can make a difference in someone's life/circumstances with the talents and gifts that God has given me, then GREAT! If the person chooses to be grateful or the opposite, be apathetic, then that's between THEM and GOD.

Who has time to wonder about someone's state of mind or manners? I don't. Don't know. Don't care. Would it be nice? Sure, but a lot of common courtesies would be nice, but they don't always happen.

I wish Kenny the best, I hope and pray he gets his life together and quits chasing the past that was stolen from him and that everyone that helped him (Karen especially) in his fight for freedom is DEEPLY blessed by God.

Like it was posted...time to move on...

Here's a little poem I memorized as a teenager...

"If I can do some good today,
If I can serve along with way,
If I can something helpful say,
Lord, show me how."

Well, thats your opinion.
I think the roots of this is based on the personal experiences 'this side of the pond' to a lovely person who continues to know not loyalty but knavery.
