This thread discusses the Content article: Poor excuse for justice

Here! Here! Could not be stated more clearly and emphatically. Kenny should frame this and hang on his wall - maybe wouldn't be a bad idea to print this commentary on a business card to handout to any non-believers in his innocence.
Each time a man stands up for an ideal... or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a ripple of hope...Robert Kennedy

Yes it summed up my sentiments perfectly. The Ohio legal system has chosen to end this in a tragically unjust and farcical way. I understand perfectly that Kenny took this plea, as well as his attorneys telling him it was a good idea -- but it doesn't change the facts.

The legal system should be all about coming clean, but in this they have chosen to add even more dirt to the heap.
Every time I get a reason to reevaluate some of my preconceptions, it makes me that much younger and more vital.

I love this article for the Toledo Blade. One of 2 handful of articles over the years that has gotten the issue and case spot on.
Thanks to that paper for their very straight talk on this case.

In criticizing, the teacher is hoping to teach. That's all.
