It is farcical Every time I get a reason to reevaluate some of my preconceptions, it makes me that much younger and more vital. |
Well this entire case has been farcical from the start.
As I said to Kenny tonight, now we need to focus on the retrial and getting a change of venue if possible.
Kenny is doing okay. He was shocked at the size of bail but had a fair idea he wasnt going anywhere fast from the jail.

WTF?
I don't know, I suppose it's not too often we see a DR inmate go from 20 years to freedom in a snap but it's obvious the bond was purposely set to be inaccessible. Big whoop - free on 10%. That would have been great had it been something A BIT SMALLER than 10 MILLION DOLLARS! Is anyone surprised the family doesn't have that extra million laying around? I barely have $3.00 USD on hand to give my son lunch money each day!
On a positive note, it has been a few months since I checked on your site, Karen. I can't believe the POSITIVE things that have happened due to your relentless efforts. He went from up in the air (always with hope though!) to my next reading, him going to a county jail, I think? More freedom, a bit at a time, and I have to admit, I was hoping the state didn't want to fund the additional trial even though I know Kenny wants to clear his name.
Best of luck.
