This thread discusses the Content article: KENNY WINS AGAIN
I wont pretend to understand all that jargon but at least it's gone in Kenny's favour. Hopefully it wont be taken away from him this time and this guy can get back home and start to live his life. Good luck Kenny |
It is very good news.
Let's hope it stands this time. Every time I get a reason to reevaluate some of my preconceptions, it makes me that much younger and more vital. |
Well folks, here we go again! Why am I not surprised by the content of the "massive" 19 page judgement, which I would add, is a convoluted re-hash of face-saving bilge? Turkeys, and voting, and Christmas, come readily to mind in relation to retrial or release. The usual suspects have been hung out to dry again. Kluge and Du Bois in particular are firmly ensconsed in the " spot the scapegoat" seats, while the real villain of the piece escapes scrutiny for his prosecutorial performance. Until Basinger's handling of this case is fully investigated, an innocent man will die in prison, from either natural causes or from lethal injection, on the altar of Basinger's ego. The fact is that in any retrial, those who were involved in the prosecution of the original case, will be under serious scrutiny, and the avoidance of such an eventuality will be too great to resist. Current Prosecutor Lammers was recently quoted as saying that he has a "stronger case" than that of the original, so that being the situation, Mr.Lammers, please put your money where your mouth is and give it your best shot. Will judge Basinger allow you to do it ??? The smoke is dispersing and the mirrors are cracking, but does anyone seriously believe that the already massive cost to the taxpayers of Ohio, by an elected representative on an ego trip, justifies further procrastination in denying an innocent man justice ?
