I'm sorry, but when a man is that adamant that he did something to a child, I would hope the police would really delve into it. For the defense atty to say that his client was "inconvenienced" by being arrested, etc. Give me a break! He went on international television saying he was with this child when she died. THE POLICE BETTER NOT TURN A BLIND EYE.
I'm glad that they brought him back to the US and did the DNA test. At least now the family knows that he isn't the killer and can move on.
