Stunned death row Scot Kenny Richey has been told to pay a hospital bill within 30 days or go straight to jail.

Letters threatening legal action over the unpaid £236 have been delivered to the cell where he's spent nearly 20 years waiting to be executed.
And the debt collecter's last resort is to send the sherrifs to his cell to haul him up in front of a judge - who can then inprison him.
Richey, 42,was rushed from Ohio's Mansfield Correctional Institution to hospital in July after collapsing from his third heart attack.

Surgeons performed an emergency operation and he spent six days recuperating in hospital.
Prison Chiefs failed to meet the bill for part of the stay..............so the lag, who grew up in Edinburgh has been told to stump up.

Richey, given the death sentence in 1987 for starting a fire in which a tot died said, "I thought jail paid for our medical treatment, but it doesnt seem so, Where am I going to get the cash ? I don't have any.

"It wouldn't surprise me if they wanted to charge me for the drugs they'll use to execute me."
Appeal judges are due to make a decision on his fate next month.
