Kenny Richey
The Case
Congratulations to Ken Parsigian I am so very delighted to hear that Ken has been recognised for the hard work, dedication and sheer determination he put into Kenny's case.
I admire Ken so very much and it was a total pleasure to work along side him with the campaign. I learned so much from Ken.
Ken and his team are one in a million, they include Daryl Wiesen and Paul Nemser.
They showed me that lawyers really do care about their clients and the situation they are in.
Well done Ken. I send you lots of love and good wishes.

Goodwin Procter announced today that Kenneth J. Parsigian, a partner in the firm's Litigation Department, received the Boston University Law 2008 Pro Bono Alumni Award.
Parsigian was honored for his dedication to pro bono work and for his success in obtaining freedom for Kenneth Richey, a Scotsman who spent the past two decades on death row.
Mr. Richey was released from prison in December 2007 after a federal appeals court determined that there were flaws in the handling of his initial trial. Sentenced to time served, a plea to a charge of reckless endangerment allowed for his release and his return to his native Scotland. Prior to his release, Mr. Richey was the sole Briton on death row in the United States.
Mr. Parsigian, who represents clients in both civil and criminal matters, with a primary focus on complex mass tort and RICO litigation, has an impressive record of legal achievement, in which he has devoted thousands of hours to pro bono matters.
