Some Kenny News

He is now back in the county jail. He will call tonight as he usually does and will fill me in on the rest of what happened.

I often wonder if they are going to drag everything out in the hope that Kenny dies of ill health before they can retry him.

It sure seems like this to me and so many of Kenny's supporters.

I will keep you updated about what is happening next.

***UPDATE****

Kenny called me a few times tonight and told me that they took him to hospital after he complained about chest pains.

They did a few tests and sent him back to jail.

While he was at ManCI, the doctor at the hospital he was attending for his heart problems, suggested that he also take Vitamin supplements.  Kenny did as the doctor suggested and bought them from then on in. Extra vitamins are essential to people who have not that great a diet and also because he does not get outside a lot.  Most people get Vitamins from fruit and fruit is not high on the menu in prison.

It also helps to boost the immune system and since Kenny has diabetes and various other illnesses, he needs all the help he can get with this.

When Kenny arrived at Putnam he had a big bottle of Vitamins which they took from him and gave him one a day. These tablets are now almost done and the doctor in the jail has said he is not to get any more. What this doctor's reasoning is, is beyond me.

Kenny also told me that they are reading ALL if his mail on the way in and the way out of the jail.  It is being photocopied and sent God Only knows where.

They are of course recording every call too.

Kenny, though is in good spirits and trying not to let any of these things get him down.

While to some people this might sound like minor things.... when it happens constantly and your privacy is removed totally it is all hard to cope with.
