Recently I had the privilege of meeting Craig and Charlie Reid., aka The Proclaimers. Their support of Kenny and his campaign has been wonderful over the years.
They are of course delighted that Kenny's conviction has been overturned and have issued this note.
"Like many people in Scotland we hoped that developments in the Kenny Richey case recently would lead to his immediate release. The decision to hold a new trial will we believe lead to Kenny finally regaining his freedom."
