Kenny Richey
Justice Ohio style by Kenny Richey Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet said:
"O wad some pow'r the giftie gie ustae see oorsel's as ithers see us"
On the 246th Anniversary of his birth the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals ordered my release or retrial within 90 days.
The State of Ohio rejected the ruling and eventually appealed to an enbanc panel.
The Twelve Member Panel issued its unanimous verdict upholding the January order.
Now, Attorney General Jim Petro wants the case to go to the Supreme Court in the belief that - the evidence supports the just conviction of Kenneth Richey.
I wonder if the Attorney General has personally viewed the "evidence" on which he relies.
If you are so convinced by the strength of this "evidence" Attorney General,
please retry me.
It is obvious to me that your appeal to the US Supreme Court is designed to detain me for as long as possible and to delay my release. Perhaps this case and the delaying tactics might enhance your chances of becoming Governor.
It seems to be accepted practise in Ohio to use the death sentence as a means of political advancement. Perhaps Judge Randall Basinger might enlighten you. Carpetbagging is alive and well.
Have you considered asking Bill Kluge his views on the current state of affairs.
At least he is on record admitting that he got it wrong.
That's what is called integrity.
