Father Forgive Them They Know not what they do

I have stayed silent a lot of the time but I have to respond now. This is the one and only time I am responding to this stuff.

I was taught to turn the other cheek. And I have but I am now dizzy with doing that :)

The KRC website is down right now, but it will be back up with a different format very soon. I am not finished campaigning by any stretch of the imagination.

People can see with their own eyes that this has all been a totally unprovoked attack on me and they do not like it. I do hope people will forgive Kenny for some of the things he is alleged to have said. He is under incredible stress and pressure. And he is still an innocent man sitting on Ohio's death row. That has been forgotton about in amongst everything else and that pains me deeply. Kenny's character is not what should be in question. And neither should mine be. I have done nothing wrong but help someone. in a terrible situation.

I can be accused of many things, caring too much is one thing. The rest is not true and people who know me know this. I will always admit when I have done something wrong. It is how I was raised. In fact my mother always told me., "the truth can be shamed but it can never be blamed"

I would like to point somethings out here regarding all the recent media, which I may add has damaged Kenny's case terribly. And Kenny now knows this too.

The first point I would like to make is that Kenny's mother, Eileen told me last night, that she confronted Kenny two days ago, regarding the gold digging etc article and he has DENIED saying it. In fact he has denied to his mother that he even spoken to this reporter. She said he was upset about the article also.

So if he didnt talk to media then who did? And in his name? I already warned Kenny that this particular reporter is not anyone's friend. She gets paid to write her scandalous, libelous articles no matter if they are true or not. She doesnt care who is damaged with her words. She is not a friend of the Richey's either even if she lulled them into a false sense of security. She see's story not people's lives.

I became aware last Thursday of Jim Richey's latest tale to the media. Kevin Lowery the reporter from the Sun called me on Thursday afternoon to tell me all about it. I gave my comment which was :

"The police are welcome to come," "I have no worries whatsoever. Everything is above board. I have been honest and I have no concerns. Bring it on. I have an accountant that will verify everything."

I waited to see if the article came out on the Friday, and it didn't. SO I CALLED THE POLICE myself to ask about this complaint made against me. They knew nothing of it and told me not to worry. I wasn't worried, I know the truth. If they where investigating me I would have found out before any news article came out I was told.

And the policeman said to me, that if there had been a complaint made, the only way the media would know about it before they came to me would be if the complainer had gone to the media himself.

Nothing came out in media over the weekend and on Monday night I went to the late night Asda to take my daughter for her groceries, which was when I picked up the early edition of Tuesday's Scottish Sun.

I read the article and when I got home, once more I called the police. I spoke to them for about half an hour while they checked the system once more to find out if there was an investigation going on. The lady told me to go and get some sleep, there was nothing on the system. She then told me I should get a lawyer since a newspaper is not supposed to print things like this without proof and there is none. I am intending to seek legal advice on this because this is defamation of character and a vicious atack on me. She then asked me if I wanted the police to come see me. I said yes I do, because I want this sorted out now. She told me someone would come to see me the next day.

By Tuesday afternoon this article had made it to the Edinburgh News, so I called the police again. Still they didnt know anything and told me not to believe everything that was in the papers. haha. But she gave me the telephone number for Pitt Street Police in Glasgow. I spoke to several people before finally being put through to the Fraud Squad. Now we where getting somewhere. Jim Richey had reported me to the fraud squad. I could make a joke on that but I won't:)

I spoke to this officer for about 15 minutes. The officer was very nice and basically told me that they deal with serious complaints and this one did not even meet their criteria. In fact there is and was no investigation. only allegation.

I asked him for a quote to give to media, and I have passed it to media.

The quote is:

The reporter for the allegation (Jim Richey) has been informed by email that there is insufficent information to make any further enquiry at present.
This is from the Police at Pitt St in Glasgow

The point being is there was only a complaint made, with no proof of anything and the police where NEVER investigating me.

I have run this campaign on a wing and a prayer most of the time. Everyone knows this. There are no Swiss bank accounts, no high life and fancy clothes or anything remotely fancy in my life.

Anyone who has been to my home will attest to this. I live in a Cambuslang housing scheme in an old council house. Council in US means rented from the local authorities.

I would like to ask Jim Richey if he has once considered my children's pain? Children Kenny loved and I believe he still does. Children who did not complain while I was working so hard on his son's campaign and fight for justice. Who did without because they knew how much this all meant and means to me?

A look at Kenny's prison account for the past ten years or so and the telephone costs will show EXACTLY where any money donated and any money I sent went. And I have the phone records. So if I can produce the records as I can, will Jim ask the same of his son?

I have a comment from Jim he sent me when Kenny's conviction was overturned.

This has been an uphill struggle that has taken years and had it not been for you stepping in and taking over when you did, I have no doubts that I would have been speaking of Kenny in the past tense. Tom and I started this off but Tom was restricted and I lost heart.....you took on the burden and refused to give up even when we lost you refused to stop but it just made you even more determined to battle on. You have honoured your parents by showing a strength of character rarely seen but in only the finest!! I am proud and humbled to know you as a friend, a daughter in law, and a defender of your beliefs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I would like to say that if it hadnt been for Tom highlighting Kenny's case in the first place I would not have known about it. And credit where credit is due, Tom did whatever he could in his situation to help his brother. However Tom couldnt do much more due to his own circumstances. I have great respect for Tom and his efforts and Tom also knows this. He stood up publicly for his brother and that means a lot.

The interview Jim is talking about was actually a one hour interview with Kenny for a documentary I did about me and the campaign. They used about 90 seconds of Kenny in it. I worked on this for 8 months and everyone knows that too including media. I had these people almost living with me for all this time. Kenny and I had an agreement about this and Kenny knows this. Facts Jim, Facts. Remember we always spoke about facts in regard to Kenny's case? Well facts are also involved in this.

Jim says I have to answer to someone. For what is the question? For helping Kenny? For supporting him no matter what and supporting the Richey family? For doing everything his so called loving US family should have been doing but didn't? And haven't.

I took on this campaign because I believe in it and I still do. No matter what. Kenny is innocent, He sits there convicted of a crime that didnt happen.

That is what should be making headlines, not the Richey families dirty linen. And at the end of the day that is what this is all about.

I dont deserve any of this, neither does my family, especially my children. Neither does Kenny. He is in a difficult enough situation as it is. He has been manipulated, pulled this way and that, told what to do and say and he is the one who will suffer most in the end.

Kenny can redeem himself in public and as he has already said, he knows I have always acted in his best interests. I will continue to look out for his best interests. Because the brutal truth is no one else in his family will. This campaign is about justice not money. it never was about money EVER.

There is no money there never was except what Kenny got or the phone line with Kenny's many collect calls. That is the bottom line.

Enough explanation Jim?? Why dont you show some guts and respond to the people on here who do matter?

The saying "Father Forgive them, they know not what they do" is very apt dont you think?

I wish the Richey family all the best wishes in the world. I wish most of all that Kenny gets the justice he deserves.

I would like to ask that someone prints this and mails it to Kenny. Thank you.

PS I do have a question to Jim Richey and Wendy Richey. What is it EXACTLY you plan on doing to actually help Kenny? If anything?
