Kenny Richey was told in January 2005 that the state of Ohio had 90 days to retry or free him.
Ten months later he was told this was not happening.
Can anyone imagine what it must feel like to think you are days away from being freed after a hellish nightmare of 20 years? Only to be told "no, we are appealing on a techincality"?
That has to be one of the State of Ohio's cruellest tricks in this case.
This song was written several years ago and it sums the case up.
