IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!JOHN SPIRKO CASE

I am writing you regarding the upcoming execution of John Spirko, currently scheduled for November 15, 2005. I wish to express my condolences to the family of Betty Mottinger for their loss. However, ending the life of the person who has been convicted is never a solution to the problem of crime facing our society, particularly when there is strong evidence that John Spirko is innocent.

Recently, Mr. Gregory Duerr, a postal inspector in Cleveland, wrote to the postal service regarding the ethics and reputation of Mr. Paul Hartman, who is almost entirely responsible for the conviction of John Spirko.

It has been requested that the U.S. Postal Service turn over all documents regarding the John Spirko case. Thus far, the U.S. Postal Service thinks itself as "Above The Law" and is refusing to turn over anything. Please, Gov. Taft, make these people turn over these documents. If they don't have anything to hide, they would turn these over in a heartbeat. Mr. Spirko's attorney's have been trying to get documents from the postal service since 1989. It's time the postal service realizes it is NOT above the law.
